Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of IncidentPilot and its related services. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of terms

  • By accessing or using IncidentPilot, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you are using IncidentPilot on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.
  • If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the service.

2. Description of service

  • IncidentPilot is an AI-powered incident response platform that integrates with Sentry, GitHub, and Slack to automate the investigation of production incidents, generate root cause analyses, and create pull requests.
  • We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where possible.

3. Account responsibilities

  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
  • You may not share your account credentials with third parties or use another user's account without permission.
  • You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into contracts to use the service.

4. Acceptable use

  • You agree not to use IncidentPilot to violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • You agree not to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the service.
  • You agree not to use the service to process data that you do not have the right to process.
  • You agree not to attempt to gain unauthorized access to any systems or networks connected to the service.
  • You agree not to use the service in a manner that could damage, disable, or impair the service or interfere with other users.

5. Integrations and third-party services

  • IncidentPilot integrates with third-party services including Sentry, GitHub, Slack, and AI model providers. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms of service.
  • You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to connect your third-party accounts and data to IncidentPilot.
  • We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

6. Data and intellectual property

  • You retain ownership of all data you provide to IncidentPilot, including incident data, code context, and configurations.
  • You grant IncidentPilot a limited license to process your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.
  • IncidentPilot retains ownership of the service, including all software, algorithms, and generated analysis templates. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the service to you.
  • Feedback you provide about the service may be used by IncidentPilot without obligation or compensation.

7. Billing and payment

  • Paid plans are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
  • We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Continued use after the price change takes effect constitutes acceptance.
  • Accounts more than 30 days past due may be suspended until payment is received.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

  • IncidentPilot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
  • We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure. AI-generated analyses may contain errors and should be reviewed by a qualified engineer before acting on them.

9. Limitation of liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law, IncidentPilot shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.
  • Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms or the service shall not exceed the amount you paid to IncidentPilot in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Termination

  • You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support. Termination does not entitle you to a refund of prepaid fees.
  • We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms, non-payment, or conduct that harms other users or the service.
  • Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will delete your data within 30 days of termination upon request.

11. Governing law

  • These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California.
